I am sending complaints related to Wilma and afternoon club application info sharing:
Firstly, The Wilma App is different from the Wilma website. Usually I check Wilma App daily on my mobile phone. If I don't get further notification from Wilma App, such as clicking "application form", I will not go to Wilma webpage. It causes to miss important action/ information on Wilma website.
Secondly, I haven't got any info sharing on Wilma App about renewing afternoon club application. After the application deadline, I was told to renew the afternoon club application in Wilma website.
Thirdly, I am using the Wilma English version; but when I click the "new application form" button, a Finnish form about afternoon club was shown. I don't understand Finnish at all, how can I know this form is about afternoon club?
Could you please align the Wilma App with Wilma website? Or could you please inform parents of the needs to check Wilma website in Wilma App?
When an English version of website is available, could you please make sure at least the titles and key information are all in English? Otherwise, it's better to offer only Finnish version, at least I will use google translation to translate the page to avoid missing the important information.

Hello,
and thank you for your important feedback.
Unfortunately the Wilma application is a limited version of Wilma and this is something the city cannot influence. The maintenance of the Wilma app is the service provider Visma’s responsibility and the city has informed Visma of the matter. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
We have informed guardians about applying to afternoon activities last semester through a Welcome to school -leaflet to first graders’guardians, through the Espoo city web pages and with an info email to those guardians, whose email addresses have been linked to Wilma. In addition to this the afternoon activities service providers have sent their own info letters of the application time during the spring. I am sorry to hear that the information has not reached your family. Here is the link to the forms web page, where you can find the printable, English version of the afternoon activities application: Forms and instructions | City of Espoo
If you have trouble with applying, please contact us at iltapaivatoiminta@espoo.fi .
Have a good weekend!
Best regards,
Finnish education
